Dr. Karl Sieg is Board Certified in child, adolescent, adult, addiction, geriatric and forensic psychiatry.
He joined the La Amistad Behavioral Health Services professional staff in 2003 and has served as a full-time psychiatrist tending to child, adolescent and adult clients for the residential treatment and partial hospitalization programs. He also serves as Medical Director for La Amistad.
Dr. Sieg has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has authored numerous scientific articles over the years of his career and remains active in academic pursuits, regularly lecturing at various local universities. Dr. Sieg is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He also maintains memberships with the Florida Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, and the American Medical Association.
