Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
We offer partial hospitalization programs for the treatment of mental health, substance use and dual diagnosis issues. Our programs can bridge the gap between inpatient and outpatient services for youths, 12 to 17, and adults 18 and older, who are in need of an intense, structured program but do not require 24-hour care.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) has been developed to complement the existing Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs. La Amistad offers a Substance Abuse IOP and a Mental Health IOP. The IOP provides a higher level of structure and support than traditional outpatient care, so participants may successfully meet clinical needs at a treatment level that minimizes the disruption of daily routines and responsibilities.

“I was very scared to be so far away from my home in North Carolina but as I become more stable in my environment, I saw the opportunities presented to me. It was an opportunity to feel understood, supported and that I could be myself. I began to feel that this was my home away from home!”
