La Amistad specializes with clients who experience one or more of the following conditions:

  • Refractory Psychosis and First Psychotic Episodes
  • Affective Disorders (also called Mood Disorders)
  • Co-Occurring Substance Use
  • Complex Trauma

Process to Make a Referral

  • During Business Hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) call 407-647-0660 (Main Line).
    Receptionist will connect your call with one of the Intake Staff.
  • After 5:00 p.m. and weekend hours, call and follow the prompt to voice mail.
    An Intake Counselor will return your call as soon as possible or within 24 hours.

You may be asked for patient insurance information and a recent clinical update on the patient. Our goal is to identify if La Amistad is a viable placement early in this process. The staff will assist with other referral options if insurance or clinical are not accepted.
